Jamu of Days 1 & 2!
Jamu Jamu is a Balinese Ayurvedic medicine drink, an elixir of life that has more than 1,200 years of history. Jamu is used as a preventive medicine rather than a cure.
It has the benefit of purifying the blood, boosting the immune system and detoxifying the digestive system with CURCUMA which inhibits the multiplication of a bacteria responsible for ulcers, Helicobacter pylori. This antibacterial effect is amplified by its immunostimulant and antioxidant properties.
My choice for this Fasting is that it will be present on days 1 & 2 to support the energy system and detoxify the intestine from the beginning of the fast, it will return on day 6 & 7 alternating with a new Green Juice!
- 6 big juicy oranges
- 1/2 lemon to 1 lemon
- 1 phalanx of fresh ginger
- 4 fingers of fresh turmeric root
- 2 tablespoons of pure honey and 3 tablespoons of agave syrup
- 3 pinches of salt (Himalayan rose if you have)
- 2 large glasses of water
Pass the citrus fruits through the extractor.
Pour their juice into the blender and add the ginger and turmeric roots, salt and water.
Rotate the blender for a few minutes to make sure everything is well blended.
Then strain the preparation through a strainer and set it aside in a glass bottle.
You have a litre of Jamu Jamu that you can keep for a week in the fridge, but the fresher the better! This is much better than anything you can buy prepared and the virtues are tenfold ... !
