Jamu Jamu is a Balinese Ayurvedic medicine drink, an elixir of life that has over 1,200 years of history. Jamu is used as a preventive medicine rather than a cure.
It has the benefit of purifying the blood and boosting the immune system and detoxifying the digestive system with CURCUMA which inhibits the multiplication of a bacterium responsible for ulcers, Helicobacter pylori. This antibacterial effect is amplified by its immunostimulant and antioxidant properties.
My choice for this Fast is that it be present on days 1 and 2 to support the energy system and detoxify the intestine from the beginning of the Fast, it will return on day 6 & 7 alternating with a new Green Juice!
Ingredients
- 6 large juicy oranges
- 1/2 lemon to 1 lemon
- 1 phalanx of fresh ginger
- 4 fingers of fresh turmeric root
- 2 CS of pure honey and 3 CS of agave syrup
- 3 pinches of salt (Himalayan pink if you have it)
- 2 large glasses of water
Preparation
Put the citrus fruits in the extractor.
Pour their juice into the blender and add the ginger and turmeric roots, salt and water.
Run the blender for a few minutes to make sure everything is well blended.
Strain the mixture and put it in a glass bottle.
You have a liter of Jamu Jamu that you can keep for a week in the fridge, but the fresher the better! This is much better than anything you can buy ready-made and the virtues are tenfold ... !
