Devotional songs in Sanskrit

Kirtan (or bhajan) is a spiritual musical practice from the tradition of Bhakti Yoga (yoga of devotion). Part concert, part workshop, Kirtan is a group chanting practice using the repetition of Sanskrit mantras, or names of deities, in a question and answer format.

Mantras are sacred formulas that have been kept secret for millennia, now accessible to all, they contain the essence of divine life on Earth.

Chanting mantras allows us to reconnect to the divine within ourselves. It also allows to calm the mind, to open the heart, to release physical, emotional and mental tensions, to purify our energetic bodies, to access a space of inner peace and harmony, and to feel a deep and divine joy.

Who is Ganesh?

Benoist Moisan, his birth name, has been a musician since he was a child, he has experimented with many musical styles throughout his career as a multi-instrumentalist musician. In 2013, he discovered sound therapy (sound healing) which radically changed his vision of music by including the awareness of energy and the vibrational impact of sounds on health and everything around us. His path then led him to discover the mantras and then the Indian Devotional Chants, Bhajan and Kirtan, following his meeting with Sri Tathata, Great Sage of South India (Kerala), who gave him the name of Ganesh during his first trip to India in 2016.

Ganesh released in November 2018, a debut album entitled "DharmaBhakta."
